Dholera's development is governed by Dholera Industrial City Development Ltd (DICDL), a special purpose entity set up jointly by the Gujarat government and the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC). Because approvals flow through a single dedicated authority rather than multiple overlapping municipal bodies, the process is generally more predictable — but it also means staying current on DICDL and state government notifications is essential before any purchase.
